Sail and Stay
Sail and Stay
One of the best vacations you can have is a week spent sailing; it’s hard to surpass the sensation of exhilaration you get as the boat skims through the water on its way to another gorgeous swim spot or quaint seaside community. A sail and stay vacation, which combines a flotilla, training, cabin charter, or bareboat holiday with a week of enjoyment of any number of land-based choices, is one way to make this trip even better.
If you’re only staying for a day or two, you’ll want to maximise your time there. Do your research on the ship during your post-sailing stay to learn more about your final destination in a casual and relaxed setting. Check out the enrichment lectures that are being offered.
From luxury villas with pools to vacation villas, small hotels, and apartments, we provide a variety of property types in carefully chosen locations in Budva, Tivat, Herceg Novi, and Kotor, and in nearly all other towns in Montenegro.
Makes for An Extended Vacation
Simply put, extending your trip by one or more hotel nights is possible with cruises. For instance, who wouldn’t want to extend a seven-night cruise to a total of nine nights? Making the most of lengthy flights to some destinations is a better approach to optimise pricey tickets, especially if you’re travelling far. Giving or taking depending on busy flying seasons, it doesn’t cost any more to fly roundtrip for a weeklong vacation than it would for a two-week one.
The Best of Both Worlds
A cruise and stay give you the chance to make use of your holiday in a more traditional sense, making it the ideal choice for people boarding a luxury cruise ship for the first time. Travellers have the option of staying in a hotel in one of the many ports of call the ship calls at before or after the trip, returning to the more traditional way of vacationing. Some allow you to break up the voyage by spending a few days at a particular location before continuing on with the boat’s route.
Where to stay in Montenegro
Everywhere you turn on a Montenegro cruise, you can anticipate breathtaking landscapes. The country’s version of Norway’s breathtaking fjords is the glittering Bay of Kotor. Additionally, Kotor itself is a living museum of Renaissance mansions, Venetian palaces, and homes with terracotta roofs. A vacation that is the ideal fusion of land and water.
There are many places to stay and places to see after your sailing vacation, regardless of whether you include Montenegro in your Croatia itinerary or cruise or visit the lovely country as a stand-alone destination. The Bay of Kotor, Sveti Stefan, Budva, and other well-known locations in Montenegro are only a few.
Sveti Stefan
One of the most breathtaking locations in Montenegro, and one of the most prestige in Europe, is Sveti Stefan. It’s also one of the most upscale places to stay. It is a little islet that can be reached from the mainland, but access is restricted to guests of the five-star Aman Sveti Stefan Hotel. The islet can be recognised by its stone structures with mediaeval architecture and terracotta roofs. Despite its exclusivity, the mainland provides reasonably priced lodging along the coast with stunning sea views.
Kotor
The Bay of Kotor is located to the west of the stunning nation of Montenegro. The Old Town itself is a historic city well-known for its illustrious past, beautiful architecture, and quaint lanes. Kotor is a fantastic choice for accommodations for people combining a Croatia trip or cruise with Montenegro, depending on how much time you have since it shares similarities with Croatia. Churches, cafes, palaces, and museums may be found on the streets, many of which have gorgeous mountain backdrops and picturesque surroundings.
Budva
On the western coast of Montenegro, Budva is a magnificent place that can be reached from Kotor in about twenty minutes. This is a relatively tiny, cosy city with an Old Town that is rich in culture, architecture, and charm. The town is bordered by the Adriatic Sea, so you may spend days at the seaside or participate in watersports or just enjoy the glittering sea from Budva. Along the western shore of Kotor and Budva, there are a number of communities, each of which has something unique and alluring to offer.
